L’histoire de la boutique Chez Teil, située au 11 rue de la Parcheminerie dans le Marais à Paris, débute en 1898. C’est à cette date que Joseph Teil, originaire du Cantal, ouvre son premier commerce spécialisé dans les produits d’Auvergne. La boutique connaît rapidement un succès grandissant, attirant des clients parisiens en quête de saveurs authentiques et de qualité.
Un engagement pour la tradition
Au fil des générations, la famille Teil a su perpétuer la tradition et l’âme de la boutique. Jean Teil, fils de Joseph, a pris la relève au début du XXe siècle, suivi par son fils Pierre Teil dans les années 1950. Aujourd’hui, c’est Emmanuel Teil, petit-fils de Pierre, qui veille à la destinée de Chez Teil, avec la même passion et le même souci d’excellence que ses prédécesseurs.
